Old Farmer’s Ball hosts English Country Dance (ECD) and community waltzes at the Jewish Community Center, 236 Charlotte St, Asheville
WALTZING
Musicians and dancers of all levels are warmly invited to join us! If you’re new to the floor, we offer informal waltz instruction to get you started.
Our “open band” is dedicated to making great music while having a fantastic time. Whether you read music via ForScore, prefer paper scores, or play entirely by ear, there’s a place for you here. We suggest a cash contribution to help cover the hall rental, but please don’t let finances deter you—we’d much rather have you with us!

Cost
For the ECD dance, $10 for OFB members, $12 for non-OFB members (If life is tight, $5 will do)

- English Country Dance: 3:30 pm for newcomer session, Dance from 4:00 pm – 6:15 pm
- 4th Sundays
- English Country Dance: 3:30 pm for newcomer session, Dance from 4:00 pm – 6:15 pm
- Community Waltz: 6:30 pm – 8:45 pm
