OFB at Harvest House:  ADVANCED Free contra dance with  – Curious George with Claire Takemori calling 

Advanced contra is for dancers who are very comfortable with complex dances, no-walk-thrus, medleys, with fast-paced music. Some things you should be able to dance: (Ideally both roles), Ricochets, orbits, box circulate, Shadows, Diagonals, End effects, Pass the Ocean Wave, Rory O’More, Petronella, how to pull-by around the ends of the set. (NOT a good time to learn the other role)

***Newer/less-experienced dancers are welcome to OFB Thursdays at Warren Wilson College, and Monday Contra at AB Tech (as well as Sat River Falls contras, Sat Jonesborough Contras, and Summer Soiree dance weekend in June, The LEAF Festival in October, John C Campbell Winter Week, etc)***

Old Farmers Ball rents Harvest House, and we can’t charge for your entry, but any donations to appreciate our live musicians are welcome.

Bring a water bottle, snacks to share, and clean dance shoes.
