We’re hosting a memorial celebration in honor of our father Frederick Park, the visionary founder of the Old Farmers Ball. 

We will be honoring his legacy as a dance caller, storyteller, historian and community builder across the country. Please join us if Frederick was influential in your early dancing days and you would like to celebrate him with us.

The gathering will begin with a memorial concert at 3pm, followed by a potluck dinner at 5:30 and the dance will start at 7pm at Bryson Gym @ Warren Wilson College.

 

If you would like to make a donation the funds will go towards the family travel fund and to archiving Frederick’s extensive collection of dances and stories.
