Friday Dance – 7-9:30pm
Callers: Julliette Webb and Luanne Stiles
Music: Nora Garver, Julia Weatherford and Karen Gaughan

Saturday Workshop: Dance Communication – 2:30-4:30 pm
Explore how to be flexible, creative, and present in your approach to English Country Dance as we play with such things as helping, learning, communicating, adjusting on the fly to mistakes – and more.
We will look at it from two perspectives: if you are a caller, what can you do to
support dancers and the community in improving these skills; as a dancer, how you can refine these skills.

Saturday Dance Party: 7-10PM
with Brooke Friendly
Brooke is an internationally known choreographer and dance leader based in southern Oregon.
Brooke calls dances globally, without reference to gender roles.
This is an amazing opportunity for those of us on the east coast.

Music!
Mara Shea, violin and Julie Gorka, piano, will provide wonderful music for the
Saturday workshops and dance.

Caller workshops are by preregistration, with a sliding scale of $40-75+.
This includes all events, from the Friday night dance through to the Sunday morning workshop.

For dancers, a sliding scale rate of $25+ includes the Friday night dance, Saturday afternoon workshop, and Saturday evening dance.

This event is supported in part by the Mary Kay Friday Fund of the
Country Dance and Song Society. www.cdss.org
