Because of The Old Farmers Ball Annual Meeting beginning at 6:00pm, our English Country Dance dance today will begin at 3:00pm, at HOMEWOOD, in order that the dance will end in enough time to attend the OFB Annual Meeting at Harvest House, 205 Kenilworth Road, Asheville, 28803. The OFB Annual Meeting begins with Potluck at 5pm; Meeting at 6:00pm. Our Asheville ECD is affiliated with our larger community dance organization, OFB, and is partially funded by OFB. We want to have a large number of ECD dancers attend the Annual Meeting over at Harvest House to show our appreciation for OFB support and to see the inner workings of all things that the OFB Board does for Traditional Dance in our area. Following the Meeting, there will be open Waltzing for your dancing pleasure. The OFB Annual Meeting at Harvest House is free of charge.
For our ECD dance, we welcome Beginners even though on this particular Sunday, there will be no Beginners’ Session.
$7/$6 for OFB Members
All are welcome; no partner necessary; wear comfortable clothes and shoes; bring a snack from time to time to share; fragrance-free dance.
